Fits 1957–74 vehicles.
Most vehicles are equipped with OE-resistant wires or ballast resistors. When using the Ignitor II® and Ignitor III® ignition systems, they require a full +12V power connection between the ignition switch and the positive coil terminal. To get the full benefit of the PerTronix® high-performance ignition system, the primary resistance needs to be eliminated or bypassed. In most cases it is easier to add the PerTronix® ignition power relay, rather than cutting into the vehicles wiring harness and replacing wires.
Kit includes: 30 amp auto relay, relay socket and harness, 3 amp 400 volt diode, mounting screw, and connectors. Includes easy-to-follow instructions that include an 800-number tech line for additional help. Made by PerTronix®.
