DOUG’S COATED HEADERS 1965-73 FORD MUSTANG 260 289 302 ENGINE WITH AIR CONDITIONING POWER STEERING SHORTY DESIGN (D665)

Fits 1965–73 Mustang 260 / 289 / 302 all with automatic or manual transmission, air conditioning, and power steering.

These ceramic-coated "shorty" headers are designed for maximum ground clearance. They require the use of a 1965–66 non-HiPo clutch equalizer bar (see part number C5ZZ-7528ER) and late-1966 or later frame bracket mounts (approximately 1 inch higher than earlier mounts). Lakewood bell housings require additional clearance for header tubes. Use an export brace if shock mount center-to-center dimension is less than 33-3/4 inches (see part numbers C5ZZ-16A052E CH EC).

Tube size: 1-5/8 inch, collector size: 2-1/2 inch.
